Writing logs
AnsweredHi,
After the last update (15.0.1), the write log actions in my scripts misbehave. They tell me the filepath does not have a file name:

Yet the action works fine if I edit the action, change nothing, and save it. Runs just fine until I close Foxtrot, yet when I load the script anew, same issue occurs. What can I do?

UPDATE: Fixed in version 15.0.2: https://support.foxtrotalliance.com/hc/en-us/articles/360030088431
Hi Frederik,
As Tatyana writes, we apologize for this inconvenience. As soon as you reported this issue, we tested it ourselves and reported it to Nintex. They confirm that this is a bug and they have already solved it - the fix will be included in the next release of Foxtrot.
Until then, as attempted illustrated in the video, you can use the "Write File" action with "Append" as a substitute action. It will work exactly the same way as the "Write Log" action, the setup of the action is, of course, a bit different.

One thing you may want to pay attention to is whether or not you want to surround your variables with quotation marks if you want to make sure that your data is formatted as strings. Using the example from the video, you could use:
"[%Variable 1]";"[%Variable 2]"I hope this helps you. Please let us know if you have any issues or questions.

We were not aware of this issue, unfortunately. Nintex confirmed that this is a bug in the current version and the fix will be included in the next release. We are, of course, sorry that you have to deal with the problem. Here is a workaround you can use until the issue is fixed:
