Excel - Get Value from cell

I am trying to extract the value from the Excel using Get value but, am not able to get the value as its showing the error "target not found". for better view switch to normal mode. Tried setting the excel view into normal mode but still getting same problem.

  Hi Chandana, 

  There are several reasons why this could be a problem. Did you recently install or upgrade Foxtrot or Microsoft office on your machine?

  I would start by repairing the office installation in "add/remove applications". This usually helps!

  Hi,

  Tried removing and adding applications but still am facing same problem.

  as Rasmus mentioned earlier - you should try to repair the office installation, not to install/uninstall it. See the picture:
